This is the Trinity Cobalt 14 Turn Single Wind Motor.
16 Turn high RPM single wind
Armature is wound with silver soldered commutator tabs
Epoxied armature for longer life
Epoxy Balanced for for less vibration
Diamond trued commutator
Adjustable timing
Completely rebuildable, brushes, springs, arm
Surface mounted capacitors, nothing to solder
Dual precision ball bearings
Fits 1/18 cars from Trinity, Associated, Losi, Etc.
Motor is factory assembled, timed, and tweeked
Replacement brushes and springs - TRIC1350
diameter: (1") 24mm
Shaft Size: (.1") 2mm
To break in this motor: Run the throttle at 1/4 for a minute
Repeat this three times letting the motor cool each time.
This will ensure the brushes are correctly seated. Do not use full
throttle, this could harm the motor.
Use only with aftermarket speed control only.
Suggested gearing: use a pinion which has 3 or 4 less teeth than
your current pinion.
