The TLR Race Team has done extensive testing running many different events and surfaces utilizing updated chassis lengths. This testing resulted in optimal performance from the -3mm length prototype, and we have now brought this to market.
The -3mm wheelbase helps the SCTE enter the turn quicker, rotate quicker and have better drive off the turn, which really improves the overall balance and feel especially on medium to small sized tracks and indoor surfaces. This setup improvement helped Dakotah Phend win the 2015 Cactus Classic.
The -3mm chassis is a direct fit part that will replace the stock SCTE 2.0 chassis with no other modifications required.
