Why Choose the Battery Manager?
High Discharge Current
In a race batteries are discharged with an average current well above 30 amps. If your discharger uses a low current, your packs will get used to this and loose their voltage (´punch´). After all, an athlete training for the 100 meters sprint is not going to run a marathon, right? All the ´cell equalizing´ discharge trays available are low-current devices. They are restricted by technical limitations as a consequence of discharging each cell individually.
Cool Batteries
The Coolflex technology (a block of 35 amps followed by a cooling-down period) prevents heat build up during the discharge process. Why should you kill your batteries during maintenance?
Accurate Measurement
The Battery Manager is equipped with a microprocessor which constantly monitors the system. Unlike other dischargers, it precisely measures the current and voltage. Based on this information, the optimum cut-off point is calculated.
Information Display
What good is a discharger if it doesn´t tell you how much has been discharged? You like to know how much longer you could have raced on your pack. The Battery Manager gives you the exact data. Not only runtime, but also average voltage, capacity, energy and internal resistance. It even remembers the data of your last pack, just like it holds the data of your best pack ever discharged. A clever cycle counter keeps track of how often you race.
Small Size, Easy to Use
No external power supply to be connected, no hassle with plugs and mains. Just connect the Battery Manager and the rest is easy.
