The 1968 Corvette was dramatically redesigned with curvaceous lines inspired by Chevrolets Mako Shark II dream car. The ultimate 68s were powered by the mighty L88 version of the legendary 427-cubic-inch big-block V-8. The race-ready mill was good for an estimated 500 horsepower and was installed under a specially designed high-rise hood not shared with lesser Corvettes. This carefully detailed Revell kit includes parts to build a factory-stock 68 Corvette convertible with the L88 mill or a wild street machine with a blown-and-injected 427 V-8 poking through the hood, a pair of chrome side pipes, and custom wheels.
