Equipped with a touch sensitive color LCD screen and specialized touch software, Orion's Advantage Touch charger provides an intuitive charging method and makes charging all battery types easy and enjoyable. The charger caters to beginner to intermediate users while providing an internal power supply for AC USAge and an array of features typically found in chargers priced above the $200 price point. While the Spectra touch screen paired with ATTS (Advanced touch technology software) help users navigate through various charger parameters with ease, the internal setup assistant guides the user through the charge process making it timely and easy to charge or discharge all popular battery types. In addition to the Revolutionary touch screen and setup assistant, the charger is loaded with other features that make this suitable for users looking to charger smaller Ni-MH packs to large (up to 6S) Lithium batteries. Some of these include; HPC High Precision Charging Processor Its important that the charger provide the battery with a complete charge, no matter the type and original status of the battery. Through extensive R & D we have found the best charge and discharge profiles to ensure a safe and reliable charge and discharge, time after time. The high precision charging circuitry manages the charge and discharge with unprecedented levels of accuracy, delivering optimal battery performance charge after charge. Advanced Balancing The Advantage Touch charger is equipped with a lithium battery balance function. This function enables you to check the status of your lithium batteries, and if required, it can balance the cells without having to use the charge or discharge functions of the charger. A graphic display and data such has voltage and IR for each cell are displayed on the screen indicating their current status. Graphics Engine Thanks to its advanced software and hardware capabilities, the charger can display the current charge and discharge status with full color graphic versus standard DOT matrix data points. Graphics give a visual reading of data which can help the user better visualize the current state of the battery. You can check the battery charge and discharge voltage curves which may indicate inconsistencies the batteries functionality.
