This is a Plastic 1/26 1829 Stephenson Rocket Locomotive Train with Track.
It's a skill level 2 model for ages 10 and up.
George Stephenson, his son Robert, and Henry Booth were the three men who
created the Rocket, won the Rainhill trials and established Stephenson's
company as the foremost builder of railway locomotives in England. Of the five
engines entered in the October 1829 trials, only the Rocket completed the
course, exceeded all the requirements, and performed without incident. It has
been written that the Rainhill Trials version rode like a horse because of the
hammer-like blows from the twin cylinders which were directly coupled with the
driving wheels. Shortly after the trials, the steeply angled cylinders were
lowered to an eight degree pitch, resulting in improved crew comfort and a much
smoother ride.

Plastic parts molded in gray, white, and yellow - painting is
optional.
Authentic 1/38 scale working model of the world's first steam
locomotive that was suitable and practical for hauling both freight
and passengers.
Locomotive is a round barrel with a funnel steam pipe, small wheels
in front, and significantly larger wheels in back.
Locomotive carries a wooden box like cart, which currently holds a
barrel; wheels on cart match the size of the locomotive's front
wheels.
Cart is three sided, open at one end for loading on items easier.
Painting is optional, and paint colors are listed within informative
instructions.
