JConcepts together with Ryan Maifield and ace mechanic Mike Truhe had a goal before the ROAR Fuel Nationals of creating a rock guard capable of resisting larger debris from getting into the drivetrain on the MBX8 line of vehicles. An ultra-thin carbon fiber plate has been created to position over the rear driveshaft and diff outdrive to block items from entering from the top of the vehicle.
Steady input from the team help create products and eliminate on-track concerns or new ways to maintain consistency on the racetrack. Results have been impressive with Ryan Maifield already winning such races as The Dirt Nitro Challenge and Silver State Nitro Challenge with the new guards.
