The JConcepts Regulator chassis conversion kit arrives standard with aluminum machined horizontal chassis members front and rear. To accommodate different rules across the RC monster truck world, JConcepts has made available brass versions of the horizontal members. The brass weight adds additional chassis weight at each end of the truck loading up on sprung weight to the Regulator. This allows for better jump handling and landing and the ability to plant the tires into the racing surface via front to rear weight transfer.
During a normal race day, it's helpful to be able to adjust weight bias depending on the track, conditions, and available grip. JConcepts now has several tuning items available for the Regulator chassis kit to make adjusting on the fly or for certain events worry free.
