Hot Racing 2-speed heavy duty complete full metal gear locked center main gearbox transmission with heavy duty 32 pitch, 57 tooth spur gear for the Axial AX10, SCX-10, and Wraith (WRA38TP03 may have a better fit on the Wraith - see below comments) vehicles. See requirements and comments sections for more fitment information.
- Hardened steel spur gear and internal gears
- Higher top speed (top gear is 15% taller than stock)
- More torque (low gear is 15% shorter than stock)
- Full sealed ball bearings
- Locked output gear
- Billet machined aluminum transmission case and motor mount
- Transmission case, servo mount plate, and motor mount plate are anodized black with secondary-processed machined beveled edges
- Gear hub is anodized orange
- Super duty adjustable metallic-pad slipper system
- Heavy duty 32 pitch 57 tooth steel main spur gear
- Assembled and ready to install
- Compatible with Axial AX80078 stock gear cover (see comments below) or Hot Racing SCP32X01 aluminum cover
- 0.8 Module (32 pitch) pinion gear
- Recommended to inspect all hardware prior to use and use a removable locking adhesive on screws threading into metal
- Installation: some vehicles/applications may need modification to achieve desired fit. This should be expected.
- Wraith installation will require a shortened driveshaft or one Hot Racing SCP37VS driveshaft
- SCX10 installation will require:
- 1) a 4 link set up
- 2) a Hot Racing SCP37VS front and SCP37VM rear driveshaft
- 3) reversing the position of the transmission
- 4) battery pack installation in the front of the vehicle
- If gear cover is used, then the largest compatible spur gears are 87T (48 pitch) or 57T (32 pitch)

COMMENTS:
- SCX38TP03 is the same as Hot Racing WRA38TP03, except with a short output shaft. SCX38TP03's short output shaft fits better on the SCX chassis, whereas WRA38TP03's long output shaft fits better on the Wraith chassis. - If gear cover is used, then the largest compatible spur gears are 87T (48 pitch) or 57T (32 pitch)
