This is a hop-up CVD Drive Axle set for the HPI Savage .21 or .25
These replace the front dogbone and axle.
Steel construction, black in color
Assembly required (assembly sheet included)
Two CVD bones (drive axle) HPIC8851
Two CVD axles (drive axle)
Two CVD couplings
Two 4x4mm set screws
Two 5mm nylon insert lock nuts (clockwise threads)
Two cross pins
One 2mm hex wrench
One tube of lube
One tube of thread lock
One assembly sheet
Assembly and installation into the Savage model
length: 6.3/8" (163mm)
The CVD's do not use the clockwise and counter clockwise axles and
screws like the stock axles do. It only has the clockwise threads
Rebuild kit is HPIC0857.
Drive axles are HPIC8856.
