The BR&P AshF0RD Tower represents the prototype structure built in 1914 by the Buffalo, Rochester, and Pittsburgh Railway; it was a major switching station in western New York. It has a distinctive Spanish Mission style roof and unique exterior concrete architecture all captured in fine detail in this scale model. It can represent the prototype structure on your layout or fill in for any typical interlocking tower, typical of many big railroads throughout the U. S. The kit includes all components to build up the structure walls, base, roof assembly, staircase assembly, acetate glazing for the windows and includes a set of details to add to this scene or another on your layout. Also includes a set of refreshed assembly instructions.
