The ideal running temperature range of the motor is between 115-120 degrees. Its important to watch the operating temperature and adjust gearing (if allowed in racing league) appropriately to stay within the ideal range. Over-gearing, extended full-throttle and full-braking runs will heat the motor quickly. Any temperature over 150 degrees is risking permanent damage to the motor and internal components. Always monitor the appearance inside the motor for excessive saturated heat as indicated by blue to orange or red colo-ring.
