Why get a $18 turbo when you can have a Mach 5ive? Our HV 30mm size motorcooling fan is a must have for all stock 17.5 and 13.5 classes and any application where lower motor temps are desired!
Wiring includes a male JST plug on a 40mm lead from the fan itself. Also includes a 165mm extension wire a male JR plug, making it easy to plug into your receiver. Some racers snip off the JR plug and direct wire the fan to the + and - ESC battery terminals (the fan comes on when you plug in your car, even when the ESC is off). The direct wire method is only for pro-level racers and this could void the warranty by using reverse polarity.
All fans are individually tested in-house prior to shipping to ensure their performance meets our strict QC standards.
Mounting with tape: If you are not using a fan mount, we recommend Grey 3M outdoor 2-sided tape (available at Home Depot or any hardware store) double thickness (fold it over) and stick to a clean area on the chassis. The 2x thickness gives plenty of cushion. Add a carbon fan guard if you want to protect the blades and prevent the housing from flexing.

Use the entire fan and extension. Some other brand fan extensions use reverse polarity and will ruin the motor. This is also noted on the product packaging and we are not responsible for reverse polarity failures.
