This chassis is about as cool as you can get with a chassis. It starts life as a 4.5mm slab of premium 6061 T-6 aluminum. This is then milled down to a 2.3 to 2mm thickness, leaving a ridge around the edge. This gives you the strength of a thick piece, and the weight of the thinner piece.
