Associated Diff Fluid and RC10 Parts Are Back, Plus a Touch of Tamiya Color

There is something quietly satisfying about a brand that has been doing things right since 1965, and Team Associated is exactly that kind of company. From the original RC10 that rewrote the rulebook on off road racing in the early 1980s all the way through today, Associated has kept a devoted following by sweating the details that actually matter on the track. Today that loyalty gets a small reward, because a couple of their silicone diff fluids have landed back in stock. ASC5463 is the thick stuff at 500,000 cSt, perfect for locking up a diff when you want maximum traction transfer, while ASC5455 comes in at a more nimble 10,000 cSt for drivers who prefer a bit more responsiveness in the rear end.

The one that really caught my eye today, though, is ASC6648, the RC10 Wing Wire and Mount Set. The RC10 is practically a religious artifact in this hobby, and the fact that Associated still supports it with genuine parts speaks volumes about how they treat their customers.
