The Spektrum SR215 Is Back and So Is That Hobbywing ESC I Keep Hearing About

Okay so I was literally just reading about budget receiver options last night and then this morning I see that the SPMSR215 came back in stock. Coincidence? Probably. But still exciting.

The SR215 is a DSMR 2 channel receiver and apparently this is a big deal because DSMR gives you better range and signal reliability compared to older DSM2 setups. For a $39 receiver that is pretty solid from what I have been reading. 28 units on hand right now so no mad rush, but worth knowing its available.

Also back is the Hobbywing Quicrun HWI30120203, which is the 1060 brushed ESC with SBEC and T plug for 2 to 3S. I had to look this one up but the Quicrun 1060 is like a go to recommendation for brushed crawler and truck builds. Super popular for good reason.

There is also a Tamiya TT-02 lower deck hard part back in stock at TAM54926 if you are building or upgrading one of those. And a handful of paints and airbrush supplies came through too if you need to restock your bench.

Have you guys run the SR215 in anything? I am trying to figure out if it would work for a small crawler build I am planning and would love some advice!
