SCX30 Builders Rejoice: Spektrum and Furitek Power Parts Are Back in Stock
There is something deeply satisfying about a tiny crawler that punches so far above its weight class, and if you have spent any time in the micro crawling world over the last couple of years, you know the Axial SCX30 has built a loyal and passionate following almost overnight. Part of what makes that scene so vibrant is the ecosystem of electronics and upgrades that has grown up around it, and today we are happy to report that one of the most popular power solutions for that platform is back on the shelves.
The SPMX-1122 from Spektrum is a 7.4v 160mAh 2S 30C LiPo with a PH2.0 connector sized specifically for the SCX30, and it came back into stock with a big restock of 120 units. This little cell has racked up an impressive 258 units sold and appeared in 184 separate orders, which tells you everything you need to know about how much SCX30 drivers depend on it. At just $10.50 it is an easy grab to keep a few spares on hand, and with 105 on the shelf right now the timing is great.
Also worth a look if you are thinking about a proper power upgrade for the SCX24 side of the micro crawling family, the Furitek FTK-FUR-2638 Mini Komodo brushless motor and MicroPython ESC combo is back with 9 units available. Furitek has earned a reputation for packing serious performance into impossibly small packages, and this bundle is a favorite for anyone who wants their tiny rig to feel genuinely quick on the trail.
Losi GROM fans will be glad to see the LOS-1907 28T 380 sized brushed motor back as well, and on the consumables side Associated's ASC5422 30wt silicone shock fluid made a welcome return for anyone dialing in their suspension setup. A handful of Tamiya and Spaz Stix paints also filtered back in if you are finishing a new build.
Everything ships mail order from our warehouse, so swing by LiquidRC.com and stock up while the popular stuff is still available. These restocks have a way of moving quickly, especially the little Spektrum cells.
